Just 10 More Minutes 3

We all want 10 more minutes, that extra magical time that perfects our labor.

We need to stop asking for 10 more. Let’s make due with what we have and move.

Just 10 more and I’ll have the best sermon, project, paper, etc.

Talk and thought are important, but there is a time for those things to cease.  Time to execute. Time to ship. Time to fish.

No more conversations. Meetings. Planning sessions.

Time to act.

Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. Without having any chief, officer, or ruler, she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest. How long will you lie there, O sluggard? When will you arise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want like an armed man (Proverbs 6:6-11 ESV).

Sometimes the 10 minute request is a manifestation of slothfulness.

Stop hitting the snooze button.  Get out of bed.  The 4 billion remain.
