Discounted Books 5

Part of my book writing philosophy is that I try to discern where there is a need and write to fill that gap in the literature. While missions literature is a niche among Christian publications (a niche as well), some gaps will only be filled by independent publishing. These gaps are niches within the missions niche within the Christian niche. Most publishers are not interested in such books; the market does not justify their investments. And as I have shared with you before, I am a huge fan of both traditional and independent publishing.

Over the past several years, I have self-published three books. My first was The Barnabas Factors: Eight Essential Practices of Church Planting Team Members. This book came out in 2008. Even to this day, unfortunately, few publications exist on church planting teams.

Roland Allen: Pioneer of Spontaneous Expansion was released in 2012. This work–with extensive citations and academic in tone–addresses the life and missiology of one of the most influential Anglican missionaries/priests to date. Though Allen died in 1947, his legacy in New Testament studies and missions lives on. In fact, you might be a Roland Allen fan if. . . .

To the Edge: Reflections on Kingdom Leadership, Mission, and Innovation was released in July. This book is a collection of my thoughts about the reality of change, leadership of the Spirit, and the need for gospel advancement among the unreached peoples. I have written extensively about this book over the past month here at the blog so I will leave it at that.

In light of Labor Day, starting today and running through Monday, September 14, 2015. these three books have been discounted 35% off of their regular Kindle price. Amazon already has reduced the prices HERE, HERE, and HERE. They have never been this low before.

And, if you prefer a hardcopy and willing to order these books through CreateSpace (HERE, HERE, and HERE), you can use this discount code (3MJK8BS3) at check out to get 35% off the list prices as well.

If you are in the United States, I hope you have a great Labor Day holiday. . . and are able to do some relaxing, reading, and writing!
