I write this post while sitting in a room with about 100 church leaders. They have come together to hear about the local church and missions. They have come together to hear one church’s story, an imperfect story filled with short-comings and present challenges. They have come to dialogue.
This gathering is just another reminder of the need for each of us to share today’s stories later today. We cannot follow the 10/10 rule. No matter who we are or where we serve, we have much to tell. We must share. This is a stewardship matter.
Don’t wait until you have figured it out to tell your story. If you do, then you will never speak. Other Kingdom citizens will miss out on your wisdom and counsel.
