Apostolic Church Planting: Foundations and Challenges

I recently had the honor of giving the Scholarly Lectures Series at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. After they asked me to speak about apostolic church planting, I was encouraged that an academic institution was interested in this important topic. It is my hope that more schools will follow their lead. Yes, I may be available to speak to your school, too.There is a growing and healthy interest in this subject among North American evangelicals. In fact, of all the episodes (three seasons) of Strike the Match, "The Need for Apostolic Missiology" is the most downloaded episode to date.I want to share my lectures with you. Lecture 1, posted below, is titled "Apostolic Church Planting: Foundations." Here I establish a biblical and missiological base for such field practice. My talk begins at 11:47.
