Entrepreneur posted a helpful article today. Generation Z, born between 1995-2010, comprise 20% of the workforce. This percentage will increase, for many remain students.

Those of us leading Gen Z and working to develop them into leaders need all the help we can get. :) Here are 6 important things to know:

  • They are Natives of the Digital Age.
  • They have Much Social and Environmental Awareness.
  • They are Pragmatic and Realistic.
  • They are Adaptable and Resilient.
  • They are Creative and Self-Taught.
  • They Work in the Realm of Their Passions.

This generation has much growing and development before them. The list will morph in years to come. For now, this is a helpful starting place.

Do not forget the best source of information: The people themselves! Spend time with Gen Z. They have a great deal to share; we have a great deal to learn.
