June 9 marks the 1947 death of Roland Allen. While this date is 76 years removed from today, the influence of Allen remains strong. Sadly, many missionaries, missiologists, church and mission leaders--including many Anglicans--know little about Allen and his beliefs.

If you have been on my site for any length of time, then you know there are a few posts on Allen here. To help understand how we have been shaped by this often forgotten figure, just know "You Might be a Roland Allen Fan If. . ."

June would be a great time to read (or re-read) Missionary Methods: St. Paul's or Ours? and The Spontaneous Expansion of the Church.

Maybe this video on my YT channel will be of help as well.
