Evangelical Missions Quarterly 2

For the past two days I have been at the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College.  One of the wonderful groups of brothers and sisters with whom I have the honor of serving is the editorial/advisory committee for the Evangelical Missions Quarterly.

While “editorial/advisory committee” sounds like the group that makes “it” happen, the credit for the journal goes to the leaders behind it:  Ken Gill, Scott Moreau, Laurie Fortunak Nichols, Gary Corwin, Karen Helmkamp, Dona Diehl, and Deborah Ferguson.

EMQ is one of the leading missiological journals in the world.  The editors work diligently to strike a balance between the academic and the practical.  And I believe they do a great job accomplishing their goal each quarter.  Each edition (4x per year) contains articles and book reviews written by a wide-range of evangelical thinkers and practitioners.

If you are interested in knowing what is happening in the world of missions and leading others to be on mission, then you need a subscription to EMQ.

I had the chance to sit down and talk with the editor, Scott Moreau, about the journal.  Watch the video below.  Thanks to Richard Coleman with The Mission Society for recording this for the blog.

Now, check out their site and subscribe today.  If you are interested in reading some sample articles, you can find a few HERE.

One last sales pitch:  If you subscribe to receiving the hard copy in your mailbox, you should consider paying a little extra and adding the on-line subscription as well.  The reason for taking advantage of this offer is that you will then receive access to 47 years of EMQ in a searchable archive.  I use this on-line resource whenever I am doing research.  It is a gold mine.
